LLL Conference Guidelines
Revised August 1996
- Purpose of the Organization
- To promote Christian sportsmanship among LLL schools.
- To develop moral, ethical, spiritual, and physical characteristics of the child.
- To develop a better understanding of those sports offered by the league.
- League Sportsmanship Motto: The Little Lutheran League welcomes you to our school. We ask that all participants and spectators conduct themselves in a God-pleasing manner before, during, and after all athletic events. Cheer in a positive way, show respect to opponents and officials, practice good Christian fellowship and have fun.
- Membership
- League membership shall consist of representatives from each school presently in the league.
- The league is currently made up of these ten schools:
- Zion-Columbus
- St. Peter's-Helenville
- Bethany Lutheran-Hustisford
- St. Paul's-Ixonia
- St. John's-Juneau
- Lebanon Lutheran-Lebanon
- Holy Cross-Madison
- Our Redeemer-Madison
- St. Matthew's-Oconomowoc
- St. John's-Waterloo
- Voting membership shall be on a one vote-per-school basis.
- Officers-The officers of the league shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Statistician.
- Term of Office
- The term of each office shall be two years.
- There is no restriction on the number of years one may serve.
- Elections shall be held at the spring meeting.
- Duties of Office
- President
- The President shall preside at all meetings, appoint committees, and arrange meeting facilities.
- The President shall have a prepared agenda for each meeting and be the overseer of all committee work.
- He/She will contact the vice-President to preside in his/her absence.
- Vice-President
- The Vice-President shall assume the duties of any possible officer vacancies.
- This may include but is not limited to presiding over a meeting in case of the President's absence or illness.
- Secretary/Treasurer
- Record minutes from each meeting.
- Mail out copies of minutes from meetings to all league schools.
- Keep on file copies of all league minutes.
- Carry out necessary communication by exchange of letters.
- Keep a record of all incoming and outgoing league funds.
- Present a written record of all funds at all league meetings.
- Statistician
- Set up a score-reporting system and compile all league statistics.
- Mail out league statistics to all league schools and report mailing expenses to Secretary for reimbursement.
- League Meetings
- There shall be regular league meetings in the fall and spring of each year.
- The purpose of these meetings is to review the previous sports seasons and plan for upcoming sports seasons.
- Scheduling will be discussed and/or approved at these meetings.
- Each school is to have have an athletic director and coaches in attendance.

- Membership Dues
- Dues shall be determined annually at the fall meeting and shall be payable by September 30th to the Secretary/treasurer.
- The current annual dues are $80.
- Awards
- Each league member shall keep a sports plaque to be engraved with the placement and record for each sport except track and field.
- Individual ribbons will be awarded to the members of the track and field team according to guidelines set up for that sport.
