Basketballs
- Boys' A Team will use the regular size ball.
- Girls and Boys B Team will use the women's size ball. (28 1/2- 29"circumference)
- All schools are asked to have two good quality balls designated as the game balls for all home contests.

- Team shirts shall be of the same solid color. Undershirts and spandex must be the majority color of the uniform.
- If a team has white and dark uniforms, the white shall be worn for home games.
- Members of the same squad shall not wear identical numbers.
- The referee shall not permit any player to wear equipment which, in his or her opinion, is dangerous or confusing to other players. This includes:
- a guard, cast, or brace made of hard or unyielding leather, plastic, metal or any hard substance-even though covered by soft padding-when worn on the elbow, hand, finger, wrist, or forearm.
- head decorations, head wear and jewelry-(including earrings); EXCEPTION: Head bands no wider than 2 inches and made of non-abrasive single-colored cloth, fiber, soft leather, or rubber may be worn. Rubber (elastic) bands may be used to control hair.
- an illegal undershirt.
- Any item that has been stained with blood. Before being allowed back into the game, a player must replace the stained item.
Players

Game Situations
- Conference games are scheduled for Friday nights throughout the season. If a school is unable to play on a scheduled date, it is proper for them to contact the other school to reschedule the games well in advance to the previously scheduled date. Also contact the league statistician so the changes are noted on the stats.
- The starting times and quarter lengths of other games will be: B Girls - 5:15 PM-ten minute halves
A Girls - 6:00 PM-six minute quarters
B Boys - 7:00 PM-ten minute halves
A Boys - 8:00 PM-six minute quarters
- All teams will be allowed ten minutes to warm up between games. This may be shortened if both coaches agree upon a warm-up time. Five minute half-times will be allotted for each game.
- Each team is allowed 3 full timeouts and 2 :30 second timeouts per game. They may be used in any part of the game.
- The 3-point basket will be used by all teams. The distance is 19'9" from the center of the basket.
- An overtime period will consist of a three minute period. One additional timeout will be given to each team for each OT period.
- Pressing. No Pressing is allowed on the B-team level if a team has a 15 point or greated lead. A-teams may press at any time but coaches must consider the score of the game when applying the press(full court or half court) so as to show good sportsmanship and keep loppsided scores in check.
- The home team is responsible for 2 game officials. Schools are required to get state certified officials for the last three games of the night. These officials should be unbiased and not have any children participating in the games.
- The home team is to provide an official scorekeeper and an official to run the scoreboard. Schools are encouraged to get adults to fill these roles because they do carry responsibility and pressure that adults can more easily handle.
- The home team is responsible for calling in all the scores to the LLL statistician by the following Monday morning. This is important, for without the scores, the weekly stats cannot be mailed on time.
- Other rules will be followed as set up by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and as stated in the Official High School Basketball Rules. Each school is given a copy by the LLL.
