Overview

The After School Care program provides care, supervision, and activities for students who are attending St. Matthew’s.  The goal of the program is to provide a Christ-centered, safe, environment for children needing supervision after school hours. This program is operated as an extension of the school.  Therefore all rules and regulations established by the school apply to this program as well.

A variety of activities, snack time, and homework study periods make up the daily schedule.  The program will provide individual attention, security, consistency, and fair treatment for all children.

Rate for Care/Hours of Program

Every school day at 2:50, all students who have not been picked up will be taken to the after school care room.  At 3:00, all remaining students will be signed in and the following rate will apply:  $2.00 per half hour, or any fraction of a half hour. Charges and sign in and out time are based on the digital clock located in the After School Care room.

The program will operate from 2:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day that school is open. All students are to be picked up no later than 6:00 p.m. A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be assessed for each minute after 6:00.
