Eric Ziel, Principal, Eighth Grade
The 2011-12 school year will be my 29th in the teaching ministry, all of which have been here at St. Matthew's Lutheran School in Oconomowoc. Currently, my service to the Lord involves duties as our school's principal and eighth grade teacher. In addition, I coach our school's cross country team in the fall and girls' softball in the spring. A loving family, strong faculty, and supportive congregation are blessings that continue to make my service at St. Matthew's a joy.
My wife Beth serves as our school's Kindergarten teacher. In addition, she serves as one of our congregation's organists and is involved in our Preschool Power Hour program. Our oldest, Megan, graduated from Martin Luther College last spring and is spending this year in China teaching English as part of the Friends of China program. Jacob, a sophomore at MLC this year, is working toward his degree in elementary education, with a minor in coaching. Anna, our youngest, is a sophomore at LPS in Watertown this year. |
