I have been teaching for ten years. This is my first year at St. Matthew's. This summer, my family and I moved from Lakewood, Washington, where my husband and I served Lakewood Lutheran Church and school for nine years.
I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in school administration. I have experience teaching pre-kindergarten - grade 4, as well as departmentalized Spanish, writing, and geography to grades K-8. I play the flute and enjoy sharing music with my students. I also like to incorporate foreign language into daily activities.
My husband and I have five girls, ages 2, 4, 11, 13, and 14. We spend most of our free time together. Since arriving in Wisconsin, we have enjoyed exploring the lakes and bike trails.
