Enrollment

Enrollment - An Overview
The strengths of SMLS include: the quality of its student body; a favorable student-to-teacher ratio; caring, knowledgeable instructors; a solid academic curriculum complemented by the arts, athletics, and technology; daily opportunities for all students to grow in faith and Christian living; and quality support from involved parents both in the school and at home.

Students at St. Matthew’s find themselves challenged—both in and out of the classroom—while being encouraged by their teachers, parents, and fellow students to use their God-given talents to their fullest potential. St. Matthew’s Lutheran School opens its doors to all children in the community.

Entrance Requirements
Although St. Matthew’s School is owned and operated by St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, we invite all families living in the Oconomowoc area to take advantage of the unique, Christ-centered education offered at our school. A child must be five years of age by September 1 for enrollment in Kindergarten and four years of age by September 1 to be eligible for our Pre-Kindergarten.

Fees
Because St. Matthew’s members fund the school through weekly offerings, member fees are lower than non-member fees. All fees are also structured to provide discounts when families have more than one child enrolled. Families considering church membership may pay the member fee during the first year of enrollment while an introductory Bible Information Class (BIC) is taken.

Pre-Kindergarten Standard Fee ($675) Church Member Fee ($559)

Kindergarten Standard Fee ($1350) Church Member Fee ($715)

Grades 1-8 Standard Fee ($2250) Church Member Fee ($995)
